Arafat, Balfour and Palestine ……….

 

 

 

 

 

 

Balfour gave a “promise” for a Jewish Home Land, a land he had no right to promise, then Arafat legitimize the promise and gave away the land he never had a right to give away.

When we remember Balfour, we must remember Arafat and the PLO. Arafat and the PLO turned the Palestinians from proud successful professionals highly educated to a bunch of beggars and thieves.

96 years ago, Lord Balfour, foreign minister of Great Britain (not so great any more) a die hard Christian Zionists certainly an Anti-Semite gave his infamous letter to Baron Rothschild of what became known as the Balfour Declaration, promising the Zionists Federation of Great Britain and Ireland a “Jewish Homeland in Palestine”.

“ His Majesty’s government view with favor the establishment in Palestine of a national homes for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavors to facilitate the achievement of this object, it is being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.”

Lord Balfour like most if not all his contemporaries viewed the Jews as “aliens” separate from the English or German or Polish people. Anti-semitism at is worst.

This Declaration was incorporated into the treaty “Sevres” between the Ottoman Empire and became the blue print for the British Mandate of Palestine.

Long and behold years (1993) later comes Yasser Arafat to Washington in a grand ceremony at the lawn of the White House, Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas legitimized Lord Balfour “promise” granting Israel and the Zionist movement full and unconditional recognition over Palestine, declaring the PLO as a “terrorists” organization and the years of deaths, destruction and the billions spent and the hundreds of thousands killed as “ terrorism” and not war of liberation, that the entire PLO is nothing but a lie and fraud.

Arafat dispatched the most incompetent, unfit, unprofessional team to negotiate Oslo in a deliberate contempt to the hundreds of thousands professionals within the Palestinian community.

In what is known as the “exchange of letters” between Arafat and Rabin, Arafat as head of the PLO gave the following letter:

The signing of the Declaration of Principles marks a new era… I would like to confirm the following PLO commitments: The PLO recognizes the right of the State of Israel to exist in peace and security…the PLO accepts the United Nations Security Council Resolution2242 and 338…the PLO commits itself… to a peaceful resolution of the conflicts between the two sides and declares that all outstanding issues relating to permanent status will be resolved through negotiations…the PLO renounces the use of terrorism and other acts of violence and will assume responsibility over the PLO elements and personnel’s in order to assure their compliance prevent violations and discipline violators… the PLO affirms that those articles of the Palestinian Covenant which deny Israel rights to exist, and the provisions of the Covenant which are inconsistent with the commitments of this letter are now inoperative and no longer valid. Consequently, the PLO undertakes to submit to the Palestinian National Council for formal approval the necessary changes in regards to the Palestinian Covenant.

In response to such sweeping and unconditional recognition Yitzhak Rabin on the same day, issue a very narrow and limited letter that nowhere mentions Palestine or the rights of its people in Palestine it only gives recognition to the PLO.

In response to your letter of September 9, 1003, I wish to confirm to you that in light of the PLO commitments included in your letter, the Government of Israel has decided to recognize the PLO as the representative of the Palestinian people and commence negotiations with the PLO within the Middle East peace process”

One must keep in mind that Oslo I, the Accord and Oslo II of 1995 neither one promised a Palestinian statehood, never recognized UNSC resolutions 242 and 338, nor never promised to end the Israeli military occupation or stop the Jewish settlement movement.

In Oslo, Israel got the best deal in its history not even the American Congress could ever outdo. The PLO gave full and unconditional recognition to Israel and its Occupation, it took over the civil administration of the Israeli Occupied Territories, it created a security authority ($1.3 billions annual budget) for the sole purpose of providing security to members of the IDF and to the criminal Jewish land thieves and settlers, worst it agreed to pay for all of this, raising money from donors only to support and fund the Israeli military and settlers occupation.

Thus Arafat and now Abbas and the PLO were able to save Israel over $60 Billions in actual running costs of the Occupied Territories allowing Israel to use the savings to steal more land for its settlements.

The Palestinians today are much worst than they were before Oslo. Now they have to contend not only with the Israel military occupation, the armed settlers movements but also with racketeering ruthless corrupt incompetent Palestinian Authority. Arafat and the PLO turned the Palestinians to a bunch of beggars and thieves.

Arafat the icon of many Palestinian people was nothing but a big fraud, had nothing but contempt for the Palestinian people ruling the PLO as big time African dictator, together with his cronies looted tens of billions of the people’s money, billions that remained unaccounted for and aborting perhaps the most legitimate of all liberation movements.

He and the PLO were criminally responsible for the “forced” exile from Kuwait of some 350, 000 Palestinians long time resident of Kuwait who lost over $14 billions of assets. Yasser Arafat and the PLO never made accountable for such criminal and reckless disregards for the safety and security of Palestinian people. Never opened a board of inquiry in to the massacres of Sabra and Shatila.

More insulting is the decision taken by Yasser Arafat and his wife Suha to send his wife to Paris to give birth and reside, as if Gaza, well known as the baby factory” was not good enough for Arafat and his wife. The ultimate insult and contempt any leader could throw at his people.

Now that the forensic Swiss team from Lausanne came out with its recent report suggesting if not confirming that Yasser Arafat was assassinated through a high dosage of “polonium”. This report raised more questions that it answers.

1. Why 9 years ago, did his widow Suha Arafat, his family and the PLO leadership failed to demand a full autopsy immediately after his death and demand to preserve all the evidence and his medical records and failed to demand and open a formal coroner board of inquiry into his death given the rapid deterioration in his health in his last days?

2. Why does his widow Suha Arafat demand an international investigation into his death now and not immediately after his death…? Perhaps the millions she got from the PLO were too tempting at the time.

3. Why did the PLO and Fatah leadership failed to even open a formal inquiry into his death then, when they claim that Israel was out to kill Arafat? Well, Arafat was killed by some one, perhaps more than one within his very inner circles who had “ the smoking gun”.

Perhaps the present the PLO/ Fatah leadership knew of it, if not suspecting it but they were all too happy to see him out of the way having finished his mission for Israel. Now the new team in the leadership will continue with their journey to finish what Arafat started in Oslo. Sell what remains of Palestine.

In conclusion, Yasser Arafat and the PLO were and are nothing but a big fraud, a big lie, the most corrupt; incompetent failed “liberation” organization in the history of liberation movements.

When Arafat returned to manage the Jewish Occupation, he brought with him a collection of human trash to help him manage the task entrusted to him by Israel. That is why some 20 years later, there are no credible governing institutions with corruption, incompetence as the rule not the exception.

I begin to wonder for some time now when i watch MSMs reactions and opinions on this kind of issues and the shadows of some Operation Mockingbird crawls once again into my mind .  Just the fact alone unnerves me that over 90% of the MSM is only in a few hands pointing to the suspiscious conclusion that the News on the MSM is in reality no real News but something more like strategic counterpropaganda .

Western MSM downplays facts on Gaza far to often while ranting propaganda against evil dictators in the ME and simultaniously hyping trivial BS (like todays Miley Cyrus or Justin Bieber aso.) with the goal to distract and confuse the common peoples opinion on this serious issues.

Get over it, double standarts rule the so called civilized and democratic Politic World and their propaganda outlets for no UNSC was called upon this particulary Crime against Humanity wich took place in Gaza 2009 .

Fact is,: Israel has used white Phosphorus bombs on Gaza Civilian areas in 2009 and got away with it .

It is 65 years since Israel was forced upon the Middle East through terrorism, murder, ethnic cleansing and theft but so little has changed.

Then as now, Britain, the occupying power that handed Palestine to the European Jewish colonists on a plate, knew the truth about the Zionists yet chose be the midwife of their offspring, the state of Israel, even as they murdered British soldiers.

And now Britain, which is possibly better informed about the reality of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict than anyone other than the primary victims of Israel, remains the loyal international spokesman and facilitator of this terrorist state, working on its behalf from the United Nations to the European Union.

This week, British intelligence documents released by UK’s National Archives bring into sharp relief the extent to which the British government understood the truth about the Zionist criminals to which it was about to hand over Palestine, to be ethnically cleansed of its citizens and turned into the state of Israel.

The documents reveal that, just two weeks before Israel’s unilateral declaration of “independence”, the British government’s high commissioner for Palestine, Alan Cunningham, viewed the behaviour of Jewish terrorists as comparable to that of the Nazis.

On 30 April 1948, he wrote to his superiors that as the Jews celebrated military successes their “broadcasts, both in content and in manner of delivery, are remarkably like those of Nazi Germany”.

In another report, he said that the Jews were prepared for statehood and an “all-out offensive” with “all the equipment of a totalitarian regime”.

The papers, which make frequent references to Jewish “terrorists”, show the British understood that the Jews were willing “to go to almost any lengths to achieve their aim”.

In one dispatch, an account is given of the massacre at the Palestinian village of Deir Yassin. In it, Cunningham wrote that 250 people were killed, with the attack “accompanied by every circumstance of savagery. Women and children were stripped, lined up, photographed and then slaughtered.”

Cunningham wrote on 30 April that the Arabs’ “much vaunted liberation army” was “poorly equipped and badly led”.

He continued: “In almost every engagement the Jews have proved their superiority in organization, training and tactics.”

Yet, 65 years on the Zionists’ barefaced big, fat lie, which claims that Israel is the victim and the Arabs are the aggressors, is still being peddled shamelessly by Western politicians and media.

It is time for the British state, which is directly responsible for the crime that is Israel, to shake itself off the Zionist yoke – the “Friends of Israel” tumours in the political parties and the Zionist fifth columnists infesting the media and the trade unions – and make amends for its criminal act in Palestine.

And it is time for the British people, who are better informed now about Palestine than at any time in the past, to bring their politicians to account for their slavish support of Israel and Zionism.

The United States government has been at war for eleven years. The US military destroyed Iraq, leaving the country and millions of lives in ruins and releasing sectarian blood-letting that had been kept in check by the secular Saddam Hussein government. On any given day in “liberated” Iraq, the death toll is as high as during the height of the US attempted occupation.

In Afghanistan eleven years of US attempted occupation has had no more success than a decade of Soviet occupation. The Afghans are still not worn down despite more than two decades of war with the two superpowers. Like the Soviets, the Americans have managed to kill many women, children, and village elders, but precious few warriors. In place of the Soviet puppet government there is Washington’s puppet government. That is the only change, and Washington’s puppet is no more secure than the Soviet one was.

In Libya, Washington used its corrupt NATO puppets and CIA-recruited bandits to overthrow another stable government, that of Muammar Gaddafi, leaving Libya mired in sectarian violence. A stable prosperous country has simply been destroyed by western governments that profess human rights values and condemn China and Russia for not having any.

Washington has also been killing civilians with drones and air strikes in Pakistan and Yemen, two countries with which Washington is not at war but has purchased the governments, paying the Pakistani and Yemeni governments for the right to murder their citizens and destabilizing both countries in the process.

And now in Syria Washington is at work destroying another stable secular government headed by a British trained eye doctor.

Washington’s eleven years of illegal aggression against Muslim countries–war crimes according to the Nuremberg trials of Nazis–have resulted in civilian deaths far in excess of military casualties and in a domestic American police state that has destroyed the rule of law and the constitutional protections of US citizens. Washington and its presstitutes have emphasized that these costs are necessary to save Americans from al-Qaeda terrorists, none of whom have ever been apprehended in the United States.

Having listened to the propaganda line pumped out by Washington and its Ministry of Propaganda for eleven years, imagine my astonishment when I saw two juxtaposed headlines: “Al-Nusra pledges allegiance to al-Qaeda” (BBC) and “Move to Widen Help for Syrian Rebels Gains Speed in West” (NY Times). Al-Nusra is the main military component of the “Syrian rebels,” and it has allied itself with our mortal enemy–Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda.

Wait a minute! Our government told us for eleven years that we blew trillions of dollars on wars to protect Americans from al-Qaeda, endangering Social Security, Medicare, the social safety net, the dollar’s exchange value, the credit rating of the US Treasury, and our civil liberties in order to save America from al-Qaeda terrorists. So why is Washington now supporting al-Qaeda’s overthrow of the secular, non-Islamist government in Syria which has never ever done anything whatsoever to Americans!?

The New York Times presstitutes, Michael R. Gordon and Mark Landler, elevated the terrorist al-Qaeda organization to the status of “the Syrian opposition.” At a lunch meeting hosted by Washington’s puppet, British Foreign Secretary William Hague, and US Secretary of State John Kerry, “the Syrian opposition,” aka al-Qaeda, requested antiaircraft and antitank weapons. A senior Washington official said: “Our assistance has been on an upward trajectory, and the president (Obama) has directed his national security team to identify additional measures so that we can increase assistance.”

US Secretary of State John Kerry announced a $123 million “defense aid package” to “the Syrian opposition” that now includes al-Qaeda. Washington had already sent $117 million in “food and medical supplies” to “the Syrian opposition,” and ordered its Middle Eastern puppets to send arms. Note the Orwellian language: support for an outside terrorist force seeking to destroy a government and a people is called a “defense aid package.”

On April 11 the establishment French newspaper, Le Monde, reported that the al-Nosra organization affiliated with al-Qaeda is the dominant force in “the Syrian opposition,” not democratic revolutionaries. Despite this fact, Washington’s puppets, France and Britain, are pushing the European Union to send arms to the al-Qaeda affiliated “Syrian opposition.” And Senator John McCain wants US airstrikes on Syrian government forces with whom the US is not at war, in order to provide air cover for al-Qaeda’s takeover of Syria.

Meanwhile, the Islamist Shiites, whom the Americans left in control of Iraq, have announced that they have joined the battle against the American-supported al-Qaeda forces seeking to radicalize Syria.

So far at last count, the UN reports that the military attack on Syria organized by Washington’s proxies has killed 70,000 people. But americans are preoccupied with the Boson Marathon bombing, which killed 3.

Once again “the indispensable people” are bringing death and destruction to an entire country in order to bring to the dead “freedom and democracy.” No Syrian asked for this “liberation” from his life.

Be a Proud American. We are doing our duty to our rightful hegemony over the world and to Israel, which has purchased our government. It is our right to be the hegemonic power on the planet earth, and that includes the Mediterranean Sea. Therefore it is Washington’s right to overthrow Syria in order to get rid of the Russian naval base there. The Romans would never have put up with a foreign power having a naval base in the Mediterranean, and we can do no less, unless we are some kind of pansy state afraid of our own shadow. The Mediterranean was mare nostrum–our sea–for the Romans. Now it is our sea, and by god we are going to claim it by overthrowing Syria.

Israel, of course, was given the rights to “Greater Israel” by God himself–who am I to question the Christian Zionist preachers who are growing fat on Israeli money–and part of “Greater Israel” is the river in southern Lebanon that supplies precious water.

Hizbollah, provisioned by Syria and Iran has prevented Israel from confiscating southern Lebanon in order to acquire the water rights that God gave them. Therefore, to fulfill our obligations as Israel’s puppet, we are required to destroy both Syria and Iran so that Hizbollah is isolated and out of the way and “Greater Israel” can be created.

The Christian Zionist churches in the US repeat this message every Sunday. If you don’t believe it, you are some kind of anti-american anti-semite and should be exterminated. Or you could be a despicable Muslim terrorist to be waterboarded into confession. Homeland Security will make short work of you just like they did to those Russian Muslim terrorists in Boston who tried to blow up the Marathon race.

I mean, really, how can we indispensable people bring freedom and democracy to the world if the Russians have a naval base in our sea? How can we project strength if we project such weakness by permitting a foreign power’s presence in our exclusive sphere of influence many thousands of miles away from our borders. Don’t forget, America’s borders are the world’s borders. It says so in our song–”From sea to shining sea.” Don’t forget it.

Of course, we don’t want to go head-to-head with another well armed nuclear military power, but the way around that is to demonize the Syrian government and Russia for supporting an eye doctor who is “a brutal dictator” who is resisting an Islamist al-Qaeda takeover of Syria financed by Washington. Our masters in Washington can use the UN and all our well-paid puppet states to pressure the Russians to shut up and get out of our way. I mean, really, does Putin want all those Russian NGOs that we finance to bring their operatives out onto the streets in Moscow and bring down his government? I mean, really, who does Putin think he is standing up to our god-given hegemony over the world, much less Israel’s god-given hegemony over the Middle East? I mean, Putin is in for it, and so are those goddamn Chinese. I mean, really, who do they think they are? Americans? Don’t those Chinks know about our control of the Pacific? I mean, really, are they out to lunch?

And, I mean, really, how can all us get to heaven if we don’t do God’s will and deliver the Middle East to Israel as Israel says the scriptures require. I mean, really, do you want to oppose God and burn in hell? Instead of all those virgins Muslims promise you, you will be devoured by fire. You better get on the right side before you die.

I mean, really, who wants this fate. We had better get rid of Syria sooner than ordered.

West reacts differently to Israel’s flotilla attack, Syria’s jet downing ………………………

While the unfolding jet crisis has further deepened the tension between Turkey and strife-torn Syria, the strong Western reaction to the downing of a Turkish jet by Damascus differed greatly from the reaction to the Mavi Marmara incident, in which nine civilians were killed by Israeli commandos in international waters two years ago.

 The Western discourse regarding the two incidents reveals the strategic rationale behind the difference in its reaction which has nothing to do with an ethical standpoint but rather more to do with strategic calculations.

The fact is that Israel did not receive open criticism for that tragic event, even though it killed civilians who tried to defy the Gaza blockade to deliver aid to the people who have been trapped in the beleaguered, open-air-prison-like city for many years.

The shooting down of the Turkish jet by the Syrians seemingly forewarns of a new type of conflict and adds to the isolation of the embattled Syrian regime by the international community as the European Union tightens the noose of economic sanctions.

Turkey’s allies — the US, NATO and the EU — have lambasted the Syrian regime strongly and without hesitation for its reckless and risky maneuver, the shooting down of an unarmed aircraft without warning, which added a new twist to the festering puzzle.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton slammed the Syrian administration and called the downing of the Turkish jet brazen and unacceptable. “The United States condemns this brazen and unacceptable act in the strongest possible terms. It is yet another reflection of the Syrian authorities’ callous disregard for international norms, human life and peace and security,” Clinton said.

British Foreign Secretary William Hague condemned Syria’s action as “outrageous” and said Britain is ready to support robust action against Syria by the UN Security Council. “The Assad regime should not make the mistake of believing that it can act with impunity. It will be held to account for its behavior,” Hague said.

The EU also strongly condemned Syria’s actions; however, it urged Turkey to be restrained in its response.

The Western response to this recent incident and vehement criticism of Damascus brought the Mavi Marmara incident into mind, regarding the fact that the West refrained from open criticism of Israel even though it had killed nine civilians in international waters.

The killing of activists onboard the Mavi Marmara sparked outrage across the world as Israel met with global condemnation but succeeded to eschew any legal action or direct criticism by the international community.

How can someone explain these two responses to different but in fact similar cases?

Regarding the US stance in both cases, Richard Peres, an American, İstanbul-based freelance journalist, said in remarks to Sunday’s Zaman that the US was naturally sympathetic towards Turkey when the Assad government shot down one of its planes.

“However, incidents involving Israel are another matter entirely. This is because there is a qualitative and historical difference between America’s perception of Israel and the rest of the Middle East, and that difference has been a fixture of American perceptions of the Middle East since 1967,” he said as he defined the decades-old pro-Israel stance taken by the US regarding events in the region.

According to him, the Mavi Marmara incident was viewed by America as a threat to Israel’s security since its blockade of Gaza is also seen as justifiable.

Turkey, a temporary, two-year member of the UN Security Council when the incident took place, brought the issue to the council, seeking the strong condemnation of Israel.

During a 10-hour emergency meeting, the 15 members of the UN Security Council hammered out the details of a statement to condemn the Israeli attack, but the text fell short of Turkey’s expectations.

The statement read, “The Security Council expressed deep regret at the loss of life and injuries resulting from the use of force during the Israeli military operation early on Monday in international waters against the convoy sailing to Gaza, and condemned those acts which had killed at least 10 civilians and wounded many more.” The statement was not as severe as Turkey had expected.

According to Peres, Israel benefits from two major factors in the United States. “First, criticism of Israel is politically incorrect among both major political parties. Secondly, it [Israel] continues to be viewed as a victim among countries that wish to destroy it, even though it is a superior military power.”

This point explains “why criticism of its attack of the Mavi Marmara in international waters was muted at best, with President [Barack] Obama offering only tepid negative comments. In summary, Israel is immune to criticism in the US,” he went on to say.

Peres underlined the lobby power of Israel, which has tremendous influence in the US Congress, even over the president. While Turkey is a key regional ally of the US, America has a special relationship with Israel, defying rationality and even strategic reasoning for its own interests. Therefore, as he succinctly puts it, when incidents involve Israel, US support is almost unequivocal, regardless of the situation.

Markar Esayan, a journalist and columnist for the Taraf daily, said the primary reason why the West strongly condemned the downing of the Turkish jet by Damascus is the fact that Bashar al-Assad’s regime has lost all credibility and is treated as a brutal dictator in the international arena in the face of his ongoing slaughter of civilians.

However, Western governments remained silent to some extent over the Mavi Marmara incident because there had already been strong signs that a disaster was looming, no precautions were taken  to prevent it from happening.

Israel had openly announced that an operation was going to take place if the ship insisted on its route. “Having knowledge of how Israel has handled … such cases in the past, there should have been preparedness,” he said.

“This must not be read as a justification of what happened on the ship or what Israel did, but, in my opinion, there were strong signs suggesting that something was going to happen and nobody had taken precautions for it. This failure ended in the killings of innocent civilians.”

In contrast to the US, Europe has a more objective stance regarding the issue, Peres said. However, it did not go far in its condemnation of Israel over the Mavi Marmara incident.
